A Recovery Center Built for Real Healing

Eagle Lake Recovery restores the whole person — mind, body, and soul — through addiction treatment for men on 163 peaceful acres in Choudrant, Louisiana.

This is not a place built to process people through a program. It is a place built to help men recover, families heal, and life begin again.

Eagle Lake Recovery was built because people deserved better

Eagle Lake Recovery began with a conviction: addiction treatment should be personal, ethical, clinically serious, and worthy of the trust families place in it.

The people behind Eagle Lake believed this region needed a different kind of recovery experience — one with enough time for real work, enough space for a man to breathe again, and enough clinical depth to address more than surface-level symptoms.

That vision became Eagle Lake Recovery: a restorative men’s treatment center where experienced professionals, whole-person care, family support, and the healing power of nature come together.

Eagle Lake Recovery Beliefs

help for someone I love - Eagle Lake Recovery
  • We believe recovery should protect dignity Men do not come to Eagle Lake to be shamed, labeled, or reduced to their worst moments. They come here to do honest work in a place where they can be treated with respect.
  • We believe the setting matters The 163-acre campus gives men room to step away from crisis, reconnect with nature, and begin imagining a different future before the first therapy session begins.
  • We believe families need care too Addiction affects spouses, parents, siblings, children, and close relationships. Family support is part of the process because recovery has to work beyond treatment.
  • We believe the right fit matters Every admission decision affects the healing community already in progress. We take fit seriously because the group environment is part of the medicine.
  • We believe recovery takes the whole person Substance use may be the most visible problem, but recovery also has to address trauma, relationships, physical health, emotional regulation, spiritual disconnection, shame, and purpose.

Our values

Integrity

We tell the truth, even when it is inconvenient. If Eagle Lake Recovery is not the right fit, we will say so and help identify a better next step.

Compassion

We meet people where they are. Many members of the team understand recovery personally and professionally, and that changes the way care feels.

Respect

Every guest is treated with dignity. Every family deserves honest communication. Every team member has a voice in protecting the quality of care.

Unity

The Eagle Lake team shares one purpose: helping men and families move toward real recovery.
